What is my assignement about?
- immersion in the laboural world - Find out if you're really interested in that sector →orient students
Why did I choose the IAC?
-I love math, physics, engineering - I've always been very passionate for the space
- I don't know if I want to be a researcher or an ingeneer in the future
What was my week like?
-I was able to go to the 3 facilities in Tenerife

Grande école 3 ans
- I was guided by Pablo Redondo, technician director of the IACTEC and Jesus Falcon at the IAC
→ I went to conferences and had to present the IACTEC to other students -I was given homework too → Truly fascinating
- I met a lot of engineers and saw a lot advanced machinery
What have I learned?
-Now I know that research is not a lonely job but rather the opposite -Misconception of science and research
-On the other hand, I dind't know that in Tenerife we had this advanced ingeneering center,
IACTEC
- IACTEC has a lot of interestings proyects, with them I've learned a lot about telescopes, cameras and engineering in general
→ Overall, a genuinely fascinating experience
My personal experience
→ This was extraordinary
-Before I went, I was a little worried -the people were oustandingly kind -I was able to know what it feels to be an engineer working for research - Not only that, but I also was able to visit all 3 facilities
-Thank you IAC
Homework:
I had "homework" in both HQ and IACTEC:
- In IACTEC I had to explain the main projects to a group of kids. - I also had to prepare this presentation and show you the different types of galaxies based on their form

Irregular- 3%
Why am I grateful
→I truly believe that I visited this center in the best moment possible, and I think that everyone did a tremendous effort - I could visit all 3 buildings, the observatory in the night with few people, etc... -The head of IACTEC was my guide - I could attend multiple conferences
