Oims - what is this role?
- Creating business opportunities within the Vaso segment in -ology and other outpatient offices/centers that have not previously considered imaging and have been traditionally sending these patients out - consisting of outpatient centers, small hospitals and independent practices
OIMS Callpoints / Responsibilities
- Modalities: MRI, PET/CT, CT, Mammo, NUC, X-Ray, Ultrasound
- Specialties – Oncology, Cardiology, Urology, Ortho, Spine, GYN, General, Neurology, Vascular, Peripheral, Interventional, Radiology
- Activities/Responsibilities - Attend local trade shows, communicate market trends, reimbursements, programs etc.
- Cardiac Sites – SPECT or PET transitioning to PET/CT
- Reimbursement for cardiac PET vs cardiac PET/CT: $1630.68 vs $2991.97
- If you're doing cardiac PET only, that's around $1,361.29 left on the table with each patient
- 22% Medicare reimbursement increase in 2023 for PET/CT - the national average per scan averaging $2750.00 per scan/patient
- Nationally, only about 8% of all cardiac tests are being scanned on PET or PET/CT’s
- Cardiac PET/CT reimbursement is about double SPECT reimbursement
- PET/CT clinically is far superior to SPECT….
- Faster test – 25 minutes verses 3-4 hours
- Break even for omni legend is 1-2 patients per day

Theranostics
What is theranostics?
Market Trends – Theranostics for PSMA (PROSTATE Specific Membrane Antigen)
- Oncology Centers or Urology Offices
- Two step process; diagnosis and therapy
- Diagnosis – Administer Gallium 64 or Illuccix as tracer to tag and detect PSMA cells using a PET/CT Scanner – Reimbursement is approximately $4800 per test
- Therapy – Administer Pluvicto to tag PSMA along with targeted Gamma Rays from digital SPECT camera to destroy and kill the prostate cancer cells –
- Treatment reimbursement is approximately $46,000 (50k-73k nationwide) per treatment
- Partner with your Cardinal, Jubilant and Novartis Rep to understand who in your market is diagnosing and treating metastatic Prostate Cancer with PSMA theranostics

GE & Theranostics
- GE is the only company with digital dual head nuc med cameras (multiple generations, siemens doesn’t even have digital nuclear technology.)
- GE invested more in theranostics imaging than any other company out there.
- Theranostics requires a PET CT for diagnosis and nuclear medicine for treatment. We have the full suite of what they would need for theranostics imaging, one stop shop.
- GE has most current nuclear medicine platform (released 2019)
- Siemens is telling customers GE can’t do theranostics on our conventional cameras (this is false).

- “With the mass shift across the country of historical hospital care moving to outpatient care settings, is your practice looking to grow by providing more imaging or procedure base for your current and future patients?”
- “What imaging and or interventional services do you provide today and what additional services could your patients benefit from?”
- “Are you looking to open your own ASC or OBL now or in the near future?”
- Partner up with Pacer reps or other reps that do weekly cases with Physicians you are targeting
- Stay out of the weeds and keep a high-level conversation focused on the future of their business

OIms handoff to Acct mgr
- When to initiate handoff will be determined based on the ROI and market discovery reports I will have presented. Also, in conjunction with Josh, Georges or Sarah when is the best time to loop in the account manager. This could be immediate or longer term – and will depend on factors like if they want to move forward with deeper discussions on pricing or if they want to act quickly on a quote/proposal, or if there is a competitor already in place for which you uncovered etc
- Any and all applicable notes and information is entered into my activity tracker and shared with Al which will be shared with each account manager at handoff.
- Account manager and I will work together in some cases and others we won't. Whatever is best for each individual account.
