Motorists on 95 Express Lanes south who want to bypass Exit 133-Route 17, the Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center, and Exit 130-Route 3 should stay left at the divide after Exit 136 to rejoin I-95 South.

95 Express Lanes North
Motorists traveling on I-95 north may join the 95 Express Lanes (toll–transponder required), entering on the left, just after the North Rappahannock River Crossing. Please note: There are currently no exits after the Express Lanes North entrance until Exit 150-Route 619/Joplin Road in Prince William County. Additional on- and off-ramps will be opened in late 2023.

Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center
Motorists exiting at the Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center should stay to the right/local lanes, after Exit 136, following the signs for Exit 130-Route 3. The Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center entrance is on the right, immediately after crossing the 95 South Rappahannock River Crossing. The Safety Rest Area is open to all vehicles, 24/7. The Welcome Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily but closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Information is available about local and state attractions, weather, and traffic.

Near Exit 136-Centreport Parkway, motorists have two choices: - Access Exit 133, the Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center, or Exit 130 by taking the marked exits for Local lanes on the right.
- Bypass Exit 133, the Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center and Exit 130 by staying to the left.
