Final Exam Purpose
Final exams are designed to measure a student’s academic progress and determine if they have achieved the learning objectives of the course. We believe that final exams play a vital role in a student's academic success. 1.Final exams provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of the subject matter. This requires students to review and study to fill any gaps they may have in the content area. 2. Final exams allow students to apply their knowledge, think critically, and synthesize information. This promotes higher-level thinking and deepens their understanding of the content. 3. Final exams create a sense of accountability and discipline for students. The preparation and studying process encourages students to stay engaged with the content throughout the entire course. Because we believe this gives our students the best opportunity for future college, career, and post-secondary success, all students at WHHS will participate in final exams at the end of each course.

Appropriate Dress
1. Tops must overlap the waistband of pants, have 2" straps, have an appropriate neckline, and contain no see through or sheer fabric.2. Headcoverings, including hoods, will not be worn. 3. Bandanas or bandana print will not be worn. 4. Pants must be worn at the waist. 5. Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be mid-thigh length (midpoint from hip to knee). 6. Leggings must be non-see through or sheer material, and be worn with a top that extends past the wrist. 7. Clothing that reveals undergarments will not be worn. 8. Pajamas, sleepwear, or slippers will not be worn. 9. Holes revealing skin in pants must be below mid thigh (midpoint from hip to knee). 10. Clothing with inappropriate print of any kind will not be worn. 11. Visible tattoos with inappropriate content will be covered.

1. Badges will be worn visibly on the person of WHHS students and faculty at all times. 2. Badges are used to ensure that only WHHS students and staff are on campus, and to support in the event of a medical emergency. 3. Temporary badges or replacements will be issues and logged if necessary.

Students are expected to be in their appropriately assigned areas throughout the school day.Students will walk between buildings only to access classes; driving between buildings is not permitted. Once a student enters the building, they may not leave without parent/guardian permission

ISI: The student will receive direct instruction paired with behavioral interventions in an isolated setting during the school day.*Out of School Suspension (OSS): Any principal or designee of any public school in Tennessee is authorized to suspend a student (OSS) from attendance at school, school-sponsored activities, or riding a school bus. Sumner County Board policy states that any student suspended from school may not be on the property of any Sumner County School for the duration of the suspension, and may not attend any school function. "Willfull and persistent" violations of the school rules and/or conduct prejudicial to an orderly learning environment may warrant OSS, as defined above. Students may be suspended out fo school for severe violations of school rules and policy and referred to a hearing at the Board of Education for possible removal to an alternative setting. *Parent/guardian notified
