Template Creation Services will become available later this year. This service would code templates and documents on behalf of firms for a small fee. The details of this are still being ironed out. Create and save documents to generate at any time.

Documents are a cornerstone of the legal industry. Whether they are being submitted to local or federal courts, regulatory agencies or other bodies, forms of all varieties are requied to be completed by firms. Typically, a lawyer will draft a document that needs to be used over and over again for different clients. Legal assistants will create and process these forms. ADA allows users to templatize these documents and run them over and over again as required.

  • Create a full library, or 'collection' to store and collaborate on forms

Word Add-in

Built in Microsoft Word

Expanding our Microsoft Integrations, Advanced Document Automation utilizes existing technology, engaging in the processes and workflows that clients are already using. This means minimal distruptions, easier transitions and increased usage across the firm. Beginning with Advanced Document Automation is two steps: 1) Download the add-in 2) Sign into your MyCase accunt.

  • If you haven't already, download the ADA Add-in by clicking the link above
  • Sign in to your favorite 'View' MyCase account
  • Try the auto-templatizer or go ahead and start creating your own new fields

It will take way too much time to create all of our tempates.

Completely understand - a lot of firms feel that way before they get started. What I recommend is to take advantage of the auto-template tool. It will scan your document for potential fields and even name your fields automatically - making template creation quite automated. Another option is to use the downloadable sample templates to copy and paste fields to your document that already mapped to MyCase fields so you don't have to map them yourself. PAUSE AND LISTEN

Alternatively, in August, we will be offering template creation services. So what I would suggest now is to get started, see how you make out with the auto-template scan and if you want additional support, we can connect you with the professional services team.

Conditional Logic

Do more with less

Often times documents are required to have specific langauge, pronouns, clauses and other details that are dependent upon the jurisdiction, type of file, etc. Conditional Logic makes document production even easier by autopopulating the correct information based on certain rules. This results in more accurate documents, requiring less time for review and corrections.

"I use a lot of court forms. What is the value if it doesn't take care of my court forms?"

Yes, so we do have a large number of firms using MyCase that also use court forms. What they find is that they are able to save a lot of time by using Advanced Document Automation for their contracts, agreements, and letters. Do you typically have quite a few contracts and agreements as well?

"I don’t want to wait for the professional services team. Why can’t I start now? "

The onboarding process takes about 30 days, so after getting your MyCase onboarding completed, there shouldn’t be much time if any before the template services are available for you. I can certainly make sure that we get you one of the very first slots for that if it’s a top priority. Would that help?
