An artificial heart is a prosthesis that is implanted in the body to replace the biological heart. The heart is one of the most fascinating and complex organs that exist. Its nearly 100,000 daily beats pump between 5 and 7 liters of blood every minute to bring the cells the oxygen and nutrients they need to function.For many years, transplantation has been the only option for people with severe heart disease to survive and enjoy a more or less full life. In fact, despite the fact that various models of complete mechanical hearts have been designed and tested for decades, their results have been limited.

What does the invention consist of?

Although the commercialization of this device is great news for all people suffering from heart disease who require an immediate transplant, its dimensions limit its use to most men, and it is inadvisable for women.
