PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS
LET´S START!
Josh has been watching Netflix for three hours (Josh lleva tres horas viendo Netflix [encendió la tele hace tres horas y todavía sigue delante de la pantalla]). Acciones que han finalizado hace muy poco (y de las cuales, probablemente, todavía podamos observar algún rastro): Jenny is sweating because she’s been running (Jenny está sudando porque ha estado corriendo [y por eso está sudando]). It’s been raining - take a raincoat (Ha estado lloviendo / Ha llovido: llévate el impermeable [porque podría volver a llover]).
Mark has been replying to e-mails since this morning, and he still hasn’t answered them all (Mark lleva contestando correos electrónicos desde esta mañana, y aún no ha terminado).
"HI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WE HAVEN´T TALKED SINCE YESTERDAY 🤔
20.00 h
I’ve been studying phrasal verbs all morning!
20.00 h
AND WHAT ABOUT MARK?, WHAT IS HE DOING?
20.04 h
Mark has been replying to e-mails since this morning, and he still hasn’t answered them all 😕
OK, ANYWAY, LET'S TALK IN ANOTHER MOMENT. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVE!
20.20 h
LET´S PRACTICE...
COMPLETE THE SENTENCES:
1- HAVE you BEEN PLAYING (play) guitar much recently? 2- Steve HAS NOT BEEN PRACTICING (not/practice) enough lately. 3 -What HAVE they BEEN DOING (do) lately? 4- I HAVE BEEN LIKING (like) seafood since I first tried it. 5- What HAVE you BEEN LEARNING (learn) in English class these days? 6- Sorry I'm late. HAVE you BEEN WAITING (wait) long? 7- The kids HAVE BEEN WATCHING (watch) television since 3 o'clock!
