The buttons used on each page are displayed above, the button in the top right will show all interactive features on the page. There may be other icons or indicators on the screen to reveal more information. Any pictures during this E-Learning can be clicked to show them as full-screen.

Our findings using Ally
Logging in
Here is the page you will see when first opening the Ally app at the beginning of each shift, you will need to enter the log in details provided to you. You can see on the left that an example set of details are pre-populated. Once you have entered these then you will need to press 'Login'. Press 'Login' on the phone displayed within the E-Learning to continue to the next page of the course.
Choosing your shift and zones
This will be the page you see when logging in through the app on the handset given. From here you will need to select that you are on the night shift by ticking the box as displayed on the left. The 'zones' you will be covering will also need to be selected, if you are working across all areas of the home then you will need to select 'All Zones' A 'zone' is a floor or area in the home. You can select a single or multiple zones according to where you will be working. If you are across all floors then you can select 'All Zones'.
Activating Ally
Once you have chosen your shift you will see this page shown on the right, giving you the option to activate Ally. It is recommended that you only activate Ally once the resident is asleep or has been settled ready for bed to reduce notifications that may not be needed. Click activate on the phone to move to the next page.

On the left phone is an example of a notification that will pop up through the night, you should be alerted by a vibration and loud sound from your phone. Once you open the notification then you will the screen on the right. Here we can review the sound made by the resident, move to the next page to finish the check in.
Ally Notifications
On the right hand side, you will see the page displayed once you have have compelted the check on the resident if required. You will have 3 options and you will choose which is most fitting for when you checked on the reisdent and then press confirm, this will remove the notification and will resume monitoring in the room. The notes feature will be available if your home uses a system such as nourish and will transfer notes from Ally to each system to stop duplication of work. If your home does not use nourish or a system similar then this will not be available Press confirm on the phone to move to the next page
De-activating Ally
Ally will automatically deactivate at 8am once the night shift has been completed, meanining you should not need to deactivate. If during the night you feel that deactivating a device is beneficial then on the check in scheduler page you can click the three dots to bring up the menu to deactivate Try bringing up the deactivate menu on the phone and click the next phone to continue

Now you know about the notifications, let's have a look at the menu on the app. This will all be done through the menu button which is highlighted in the red box to the right. Click the button next to each menu to see the page each option will take you to. Under each picture is a summary of what the page is.
Handover tool
This handover feature will have grey days rather than the ones on the right, this is so Ally can learn your residents. A 'Good Night' would be classed as a night where the resident has small or no movement or sound, meaning they have not been disturbed. A 'Bad Night' would be more movement or sounds than normal, showing the resident has had disturbed sleep throughout that night.
