HISTORICAL ASPECTS
The Empire State Building was built from 1930 to 1931 by the architects Shreve, Lamb & Harmon. It was the the world's tallets building until the first tower of the World Trace Center was topped out in 1970. After the atacks on the 11th of September 2001, the Empire State Building was New York City's tallest building until it was surprassed in 2012 by One World Trace Center.
HOW MANY METERS DOES AND HOW MANY FLOORS HAS IT?
The Empire State Building has a roof height of 1,250 feet (280m) and stands a total of 1,454 feet (443.2m) tall, including its antenna. It has 102nd floors. From the first through 85th floors are used for commercial and office space, while the 86th floor contains an observatory. The remaining 16th floors are part of the spire, which is capped by an observatory on the 102nd floor, where you have great views.
