Hey Joe need a word in my office!

Choose how to start a coaching coversation

Key Elements to a Coaching Coversattion

Enter the conversation from a place of positivity this will open the team member up to new goals and outcomes and eliminates any tendencies to become defensive or take things personally. “You have shown great results improving your customer numbers ………” “The next area for us to work on is your customer spend how do you think we can increase this?” This is called talking with a growth mindset, and it always shapes the conversation in a positive way.

Positivity
Collaboration

Collaboration is the key to any coaching conversation as it allows two-way conversation opportunities. To be successful, both parties must stay open to what the team member has to say and be curious about what they are asking for.

Coaching conversations should always come from a place of support. This means you are giving the team member your full attention and focus. To do this, you may need to take a few moments to put all your stresses and issues aside so you can focus entirely on the conversation and the salesperson in front of you
