Before the lesson:
learners will have to write these tips into their notebooks and transfer every oral advice in a written one to exercise grammar and writing skills.
students revised the vocabulary of the topic previously presented and watched the video describing health problems. While watching the video, they had to find out what happened, what the problems were, who it happened with.
learners have to guess health problems demonstrated in pictures, pronounce them correctly and collaborate with classmates in a mime game developing the body language and mimic which is an essential part of emotional development. Demonstrating the digital skills in “true” and “false” exercises while checking up their flipped classroom assignment on video they really look autonomous. Learners easily connect two videos in mind and make analytical conclusions answering the question Who's in bed? Students easily understand the “have to…” structure and drill it, completing the right form of it in training items. The highlight of the lesson is a creative task of making up tips for all who want to be healthy in a form of advice using the have to… structure. Students brainstorm the ideas in a group and generate tips to follow.
Rationale
Health is an eternal topic to explore and create solutions on its treatment. Volumes are said and much more will be published on how to take care of it. Social nets are fed up with lots of advice, traditional and non-traditional ones. So we lead our learners in the simplest way to keep fit following some useful tips. They could be typed, colourfully decorated with pictures, put on the walls before their eyes as a bright reminder to follow.
The Lesson
First students do the flipped task (Revise the vocabulary learnt and watch the video)
The lesson contains: greeting, lead-in, warm-up, picture dictation and mime game, watching and listening to the video, grammar (presenting and practice), self-assessment, production, reflection (creation tips to follow), hometask.
We developed 4 skills (Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening)
Learners worked individually, in groups, and as an open class.
Pre-lesson task:
- Revise vocabulary on the topic “Health Matters” and practice it with the help of the Quizlet platform.
- Watch the video. Part 1.
Warm up. Picture Dictation a mime game, Quizlet Live
Checking up the flipped classroom assignment
Watching and listening to the video P.2 Be ready to answer the question - Who’s in the bed? We’ll vote with a Hand Icon on the Meet panel.
- The Twee Worksheet. Agree (+) or Disagree (-) game.
- Using the chat for feedback (+/-_).

This is what we have learned from the project:
- How to use digital tools like https://twee.com/, https://canva.com/ ,Genially Classroomscreen, Google Doc.
- Personalize the material to students' life experiences
- Use the "flipped task" method
- Think outside the box
Outcomes

Learners understand and can create the rules to follow for a tip.
Learners are able to transfer tips into useful pieces of advice. Students become more conscious in taking care of their health.
Action Points:
This is how we will continue to develop our skills and knowledge:
We are going to use new digital tools more.
Familiarize ourselves with and practice different types of lessons.
Use a variety of digital tools, platforms and their applications to improve learning in remote classrooms.
