To pass Algebra 1 and earn credit, your grade must be a 60% or higher.

• Attend classes live for interaction with Mrs. Stern and classmates, asking questions, and earning points for the daily lesson. If you cannot attend, watch the recording of the lesson as you answer the questions.
• Take notes! Based on student feedback, taking notes is one of the top ways to learn. Guided notes are available for each lesson and can be found in the class OneNote notebook. Notes are useful to practice solving problems, and can be used as a resource when taking quizzes and tests.
• Take advantage of Open Office Hours, Fridays 11:20-11:50.
• Keep up with your lessons- don't allow overdues to accumulate.
• ASSESSMENT RETAKES: Not satisfied with your grade? You may improve your score by completing a Retake.

As with all courses at CCA, a high standard of academic integrity is required. You are expected to produce your best work and your own work. CCA requires that all learners read and understand the CCA Honor Code, which is linked below. CCA Honor CodeIf cheating is suspected, you will be notified and given the opportunity to explain your answer. Should the Honor Code be violated, the following actions will be taken:

• First offense of the CCA Honor Code- warning from your teacher and a zero on the question(s).
• Second offense- you and your caretaker will be contacted. You may receive a zero for the assignment with no option to resubmit.
• Third offense- 0 on assessment and you, your caretaker, and the assistant principal will be contacted.
