Charlotte Delbo

French writer mainly known for her trilogy of memories at Auschwitz, were her life changed completely.

Who is she?

Charlotte Delbo was born in Vigneux-sur-Seine, near Paris, in 1913. He studied philosophy at `La Soborna´and showed interest in theatre and politics, joining the French Communist group in 1932.
In that group he met George Dudach, whom he married two years later. Her life was different from the one we have today, completely changed on 2 March 1942. He died in 1985 at the age of seventy-two from lung cancer, in Paris
