What is a conditional sentence?
To understand conditional sentences we have to know that a conditional sentence expresses a condition and its corresponding result or consequence. It consists of two main parts: the "if" clause (the condition) and the "then" clause (the result).
What do I know? Can I think of any examples?
ZERO CONDITIONAL
It expresses general truths, facts, or scientific principles. It is used to describe situations in which the condition and its result always occur or are universally true.
IF + PRESENT SIMPLE ... PRESENT SIMPLE
Ex: If you heat water, it melts. If you add two and two, you get four.
