Cruise Option 1 - July
02. July Date
July 15 - 22, 2024
Monday - Monday
This July itinerary offers the same destinations as the October crusie. It is during the warm summer months where we will travel from Rome to Athens in 7 days. By partaking in this option, there is a much higher chance Alaina and Abigail can enjoy themselves a family, European vacation. Additionally, it lines up with our summer availability.

Yes, the July option is slightly more expensive. However, I am pleased to announce that I WILL PAY THE DIFFERENCE. I will glady pay the difference and any fees to transfer us from the October cruise to July cruise. It would be my high honor.
Overall Benefits
We would get to embark on a once in a lifetime journey even earlier than anticipated. Alaina will pay any differences needed - no questions asked. No interference of dance. Same cruise, rooms, and amentities.

Cruise Option 2 - August
02. July Date
August 12 - 19, 2024
Monday - Monday
This August itinerary offers the same destinations as the October and July crusies. It is still during the warm summer months where we will travel from Rome to Athens in 7 days. By partaking in this secondary option, there is still a higher chance the Galope's can enjoy themselves a family, European vacation.

Yes, the new options are slightly more expensive. However, I am pleased to announce that I WILL PAY THE DIFFERENCE. I will glady pay the difference and any fees to transfer us from the October cruise to the other cruises. It would be my high honor.
Overall Benefits
We would get to embark on a once in a lifetime journey even earlier than anticipated. Alaina will pay any differences needed - no questions asked. May contain less crowds than July. Same cruise, rooms, and amentities.
- There is no bad option, per say. Just bad timing.
- Star = July based upon the date and availability
- Light Blue = August based upon the date may overlap with Abigail's dance so it's just in the negative.
- Blue = October based upon the date and outside conflicts.

Overall Argument
- I would push for the July option over the August cruise date. - Near guarantee that both Alaina and Abigail can go with no outside obligations. - If we went in October, Abigail would use her 3 dance days (possibly more). Alaina may have school (graduate or subbing), or a job. - Both July and August are perfect months for the Mediterranean climate (per multiple sources). - Alaina will pay any fees or cost differences to make this happen.

The island is famous for its cathedrals, vineyards, island beaches, and amazing architecture. The city bears traces of historic invasions by the Arabs, Greeks, Romans, Spanish and Normans. Highlights include Vucciria market, Mt. Pellegrino, Teatro Massimo, and handcrafted jewelry and other shops. The drive to Mt. Pellegrino is a half-hour drive. The Teatro Massimo is the largest opera house in Italy. It also appears in a few key scenes in "The Godfather." Recommended to take a break at a local sidewalk cafe to enjoy a gelato or espresso.

Whether it’s by bicycle, ATV or on your own two feet, exploring this Cyclades isle never fails to impress. Note:dining in Greece is a laid-back, drawn-out affair.

Celsus Library
Village of Selcuk
- Only 20 percent of the city has been uncovered. The Celsus Library — built in 117 A.D., the site is made up of towering columns highlighted by the statue of the goddess of wisdom. Cruises to Ephesus will give you a taste of Turkish life by strolling the seafront promenade and the bustling city center. Walk Marble Street, paved with actual marble slabs, which takes you from downtown to the Temple of Artemis.
- Walk from Ephesus' Lower Gate to the village of Selcuk, where you can visit what's said to be the burial site of John the Apostle at the Basilica of St. John. You'll also find the remains of the Temple of Artemis. About five miles from here lies the House of the Virgin Mary, which traditions holds as the last place she lived.
- Ephesus' excavated section is in a 1.5-square-mile area; you'll need good walking shoes.
- The sun reflects strongly both from above and off the white marble streets. Bring a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water.
- When negotiating in the market, make sure you're serious about buying — it's considered rude to bargain for items you're not going to buy.
- Prices are negotiable, and the first offer by the vendor will be at least double what you should pay.
Mykonos
Mykonos’ main town of Hora is a mixture of classic Cycladic architecture and buzzing street culture. Admire the stark-white Panagia Paraportiani chapel and meet the town’s famous pelican Pétros. See the island’s trademark 16th-century windmills spinning high above the port. Then explore the strip of medieval houses and waterfront cafés in Little Venice. Get your fill of aquatic thrills, then hit the beach— Psaroú for family fun, Agrari for seaside serenity, Paradise for epic beach parties, or Elia for a blend of all three.Enjoy a short boat trip to the island of Delos, a sacred Greek archeological site and the mythological birthplace of twin gods Apollo and Artemis.Hora is a hub for top designer fashions, including the world-famous Soho-Soho clothing boutique. With frequent openings and closings, listen to locals and other travelers to find the island’s best restaurants.

Just 10 minutes from the port, there's the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus, filled with sculptures from the Bronze Age to the Romans. Walk to the Zea Harbour to discover how the Hellenic Maritime Museum will bring to life the grandeur of ancient Greece's naval capacities. The Church of St. Nicholas, overlooks the port. The Naval Museum has exhibits that present ship building from ancient times to the present day. Part of the Castella district, Mikrolimano is the smallest and most picturesque port of Athens.
