How Fossil Fuels Impact Us

Excavation

Fossil fuels are excavated or extracted from the depths of the Earth. Oil is drilled from the many layers of the Earth. Coal is mined from caverns. Natural gas is produced from oil wells and coalbeds.

Energy

Fossil fuels are then burned by factories and such. This generates energy through means of generators and turbines.

Energy is then generated and converted into electricity. Electricity is distributed to consumers for their daily lives.

After the extraction process, fossil fuels are transported to factories and plants to be burned.

Aftermath

While it's great that we get electricity for our day-to-day needs thanks to fossil fuels, it also produces dangerous chemicals and greenhouse gases that pollute our environment. These dangers can put our health at potential risk.
