Observation evidences
"I get quiet joy from anyone who does [their] job well." -William Feather
Evidence #1
I frequently teach problem solving through life skills, which help them function in society.
Evidence #2
One student was struggling getting the concept of folding clothes, so I gave him a folding board to help him learn how to fold.
Evidence #3
The students were playing a game. The game got intense and an argument broke out. I defused the argument by getting each person's side and figuring out where everything got heated at and presented a solution that made them all happy.

Mentor's Advice
"A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself." -Oprah Winfrey
Mrs. Wrenn's Advice For Ms. Lamb
Remain calm.
Not everything has an immediate solution.
We all get frustrated especially when problems arise. Our response and reactions to those problems will inform how our students will respond.
We want solutions to happen immediately, but that's not always the case. Sometimes it takes time to see results to our strategies.
Consistency is key.
Not all problems have the same solutions even if they present themselves in a similar manner. As long as you're consistent in your handling of them, you'll see results.

Mentee's Reflection
"Self-reflection is the School of Wisdom." -Baltasar Gracian
Ms. Lamb's Reflection
What professional advice would the mentee give to a new Trucker teacher/staff member? I would say time management and classroom mangement is very important. Problem solving is very important to classroom management because if you know how to solve students' problems, it's easier to connect with them and manage them in the classroom.
