Tips for a good job interview

Be prepared for the type of interview, as you will be doing most of the talking.

Introduce yourself. Don't wait for someone else to make the first move.

Look for information about the company on the internet or on its website.

Practice your presentation

Let your references know in advance that you will be interviewing. Tell them about the company and the position you are applying for.

Listening and confidence are key to a successful interview. Employers want to see you enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the company.

Your body language can say more about your personality than you say. Adopt an upright posture.

Take your time. Accurate, logical answers that cover relevant facts are more effective than answers that are too long.

Check that your equipment (whether PC, laptop or mobile phone) and internet connection are working properly.

10

Enjoy the interview and any time you feel uncomfortable you should say so.
