Planet Protectors: EcoFootprint Revolution
Empowering my Family for a Greener Future
My family's carbon footprint
My family of four has a considerably higher carbon footprint than the Colombian average, although it is in line with the world average.
¿what are we doing wrong?
This shows that there is the same percentage in electricity and flights and in transportation compared to food with 69% of the entire C02 footprint of my little family, our C02 footprint shows that we have a higher percentage in our food, this maybe due to our consumption of meat at all meals and obviously it has a large environmental impact, giving us a sign of perhaps changing our eating habits.
what can we change?
Is meat really important? I think not, maybe a few times a week but not every day, reducing the consumption of this and buying in farmers markets and recycling more we can reduce our carbon footprint, I will have to teach my grandmother a little more about this impact and how This can help the world and our economy.
