Constructing a Position Paper Using MLA Format

Construction Steps
Step 1Open a new document in Word. Use Times New Roman 12 Pt. Font and set the spacing to double. Step 2 Add a header with your last name and page number in the upper right corner of the page. Step 3 Add a title to your paper, and remember to center it.
Step 4 Copy and paste your revised Film Summary (after applying all the Instructor Comments) into the Word Document.
Step 5 Underneath your Film Summary, copy and paste your revised Position Claim and Supporting Example Scene (including the Explanation) into the Word Document. Be sure your dialogue is properly formatted.
Step 6 Next, copy and paste your revised Conclusion into the Word Document.
Step 7 For your Works Cited page, use full MLA citations for the quotes appearing in your paper. Step 8 Remember film dialogue is NOT cited. But you must include a full MLA citation for your chosen film on your Works Cited page.
