The present perfect is the one that narrates events that have already occurred at a time in the past but that continue to have relevance in the present.

I have eaten at this restaurant only twice. He comido en este restaurante solo dos veces. My family has lived in Spain since always. Mi familia ha vivido en España desde siempre. They have finished the conference. We can leave now. Han acabado la conferencia. Podemos irnos.

Uso

The present perfect is normally used in three cases: 1Specific events that occurred sometime in the past and could happen again. 2Facts that started in the past, that still persist in the present and that could continue in the future. 3Actions that recently ended but can influence what is happening right now.
