Taekwodo is a South Korean martial art that originated a combat sport. Nowadays, it is a widespread sport on all continents. Taekwondo is an integral sport of the Olympic Games.Taekondo was developed by south korean master sensei Choi Hong Li in 1955

Taekwodo objects

Teakwodo has about 7 belts starting with white then gray, yellow, orange, green,purple,blue,brown red and finally black. For combat, you need a shin guard belf, dobok, mouth guard, forearm guard, head guard, hand guard torso guard and genital guard.

Taekwondo is korean and means "tae"feet "kwon" hands and "do" way it "the way of the hands and feet"

In a global sense, taekwondo indicates the technique of combat whithout weapons, for self-defense, involving dexterity in the use of hands and fists, flying kicks, dodging intersecting blows with hands, arms or feet, for the rapid destruction of the opponent. Nowadays, taekwondo has become Olympic, and in many academies, Olympic, taekwondo is practiced. Basically, it´s a kicking sport with a lot explosive power.
