L’obiettivo di questa lezione è imparare ad utilizzare correttamente il Present Perfect Simple e il Present Perfect Continuous per parlare di azioni passate e del loro impatto sul presente.

PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE

CHE COS'è?

COME SI FORMA?

Il present perfect simple viene adoperato, in inglese, per parlare di azioni recenti o che hanno ripercussioni sul tempo presente.

Il present perfect simple è composto da due parti: l'ausiliare to have (al presente) + il participio passato del verbo principale.

ESEMPI

FORMA AFFERMATIVA

SOGGETTO + HAVE/HAS + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

She has cooked the dinner.

FORMA NEGATIVA

SOGGETTO + HAVE/HAS + NOT + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

She has not cooked the dinner yet.

FORMA INTERROGATIVA

HAVE/HAS + SOGGETTO + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

Has she cooked the dinner?

Anche il present perfect continuous ha una forte relazione con il presente e viene utilizzato in due situazioni:

  1. Per descrivere la durata di un’azione in svolgimento
  2. Per descrivere l’effetto di una situazione o azione recente

Il present perfect continuous è composto da tre parti:l'ausiliare to have + been + il verbo principale nella sua forma in -ing.

SOGGETTO + HAVE/HAS + BEEN + VERBO IN -ing

I have been running.

FORMA NEGATIVA

SOGGETTO + HAVE/HAS + NOT + BEEN + VERBO IN -ing

I have not been running.

FORMA INTERROGATIVA

HAVE/HAS + SOGGETTO + BEEN + VERBO IN -ing

Have I been running?
