In 1950s the african Americans can' t do the same things that white Americans do, for example: they couldn' t go to the same schools, shops or hospitals, on the bus and trains they had to sit in a different section... this are the racial segregations.

One of the leader of the Montgomeri Bus Boycott and of Civil Rights Movement. He was a churcch minister.

The Civil Rights Movement wanted the same right, freedom ande equality as white Americans. Martin L. K. believed in the non-violent, he was frequently arrested, but he didn' t give up.

There was an important protest in Washington and here Martin L. K. spoke to the people his dream for the future: freedom and equality for all Americans. he began with this words: "I have a dream".

1964/65

One day she was on a bus, because she was coming home, when she refused to give her seat to a white person, the bus driver called the police and she was arrested, so it began the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The protest ended in 1956 when this law on the bus and trains stopped.

In this years he won the Nobel Prize for Peace and the american goverment made it the possible for African Americans to vote. he was assassinated in Memphis in April 1968 and in July 1968 African Americans had the same rights as white Americans.
