Harry Hat Man lives in a house halfway up a hill. He makes hundred of hats to sell in his hat shop. Let's say "Hello" to Harry Hat Man. Hold on ! I forgot to tell you... he hates noise. That why he likes to whisper. So let's just whisper hello to Harry. "Hello!" Can you hear him whispering "hhh" in sounds like house, hand, and hat?

Contrairement au français où le H ne se prononce pas en début de mot, en anglais il est marqué et "aspiré": pour le prononcer, il faut expirer le début du mot de façon forcée. Il existe toutefois quelques exceptions: Hour, Honour, Honesty, Heir (héritier) et leurs dérivés.
