Why is it important to protect forests

Reforestation and protection of rainforest is very important mainly in the era where deforestation is getting out of hand, mainly because of money. Deforestation is a big problem for forest type ecosystem and for the animals that live ther .Some possible solution for this problem could be : reforestation, decrease in dairy consumptions and meat, and mainly decrase in clothes production.

If we limit buying brand new clothes everytime and concetrate more on secondhands, we would't need some much cotton plantations, which are one of the main causes of deforestation.

If we reduce some types of food, like dairy products or meat we could massively reduce deforestation.

The animals that have it the hardes are ussually species of monkeys and birds, but other species too.

Natural habitat of this species is Sumatra and sadly this part of world is also part of global deforestation. That is why we see this species more in captivity than in the nature. Trees are play major role in this animal's life so it is devasting for them when they are part of deforestation. Without trees they lack food and they natural home.
