SATURN
It is the largest planet after Jupiter and the furthest visible to the naked eye. It is formed by a large envelope of gas that surrounds a core of liquid hydrogen. One of its characteristics is to have the largest ring system in the solar system made up of ice and dust. Saturn is 9 times wider than Earth.
Description of saturn:
The history of Saturn, like the other planets, began just over four and a half billion years ago, with the condensation of a vast cloud of gas and dust. From it was born the Sun, initially surrounded by a vast and flat disk of material, containing the "building blocks" from which the planets would have formed.
ORIGINS
Saturn is composed of 95% hydrogen and 3% helium followed by the other elements. The core, consisting of silicates and ice, is surrounded by a thick layer of metallic hydrogen and then by an outer gaseous layer.
HOW IS DONE?
The rings of Saturn are rings that revolve around Saturn. it could be considered as a single ring, but it is broken into 7 rings. They are made up of billions of tiny fragments, which vary in size, The rings orbiting on the equatorial plane around the planet.
The rings of Saturn
Saturn has the second shortest day in the solar system. One day on Saturn takes only 10 hours (the time it takes for Saturn to rotate around once), and Saturn makes a complete orbit around the Sun in about 29 Earth years.
Orbit and Rotation
Saturn has 124 moons, . Saturn's moons range in size from larger than the planet Mercury to small. The moons also shape, contribute to, and harvest material from Saturn's rings and magnetosphere.
