Town hall and schools working together

The town hall of Saint-Philippe is a local authority. It does not provide teaching directly, but among its various skills is that of financial, material and human support of primary schools, with in particular the facilitation and animation of school, extracurricular and extracurricular activities. That is why working together on an Erasmus project has become obvious. In addition to the municipality, the member organizations of this consortium, which work in school education are:- Maurice and Katia Krafft School - Baril School- Basse-Vallée School - City center Kindergarten - City center Elementary School- College Bory de Saint Vincent- 2 schools in neighbouring municipalities (Saint-Joseph and Sainte-Rose), responsible for participating in the development of the European project on their territory.… In partnership with St-Joseph/St-Philippe 1st Degree Inspection. Our accreditation is part of the first consortium, which, following a School-College Council (CEC), has emerged a need for inter-degree and inter-professional exchange and collaboration for success and well-being.be students and educational team at large. This European device is a real opportunity for a territory like ours.

Work for the ambition of our students and the open minds of our adults

Mobilities

The learners, aged 2 years (from kindergarten) to 15 years (3rd of secondary school), are mainly educated in ordinary classes. In addition, 2 LSIUs (Local Units for Inclusive Schooling) accommodate students with special needs. Belonging to a specific territory marks the profile of our students. Saint-Philippe is a rural town and living in this isolated territory, enclosed between ocean and volcano, mostly Creole-speaking, impacts the higher school career of our students, limits the ambition to excellence and hinders opportunities to open up to the world. Moreover, children and adults from Reunion Island are far from the French metropolis, so they don't really feel European.
