This European device is a real opportunity for a territory like ours.
Work for the ambition of our students and the open minds of our adults
Mobilities
The learners, aged 2 years (from kindergarten) to 15 years (3rd of secondary school), are mainly educated in ordinary classes. In addition, 2 LSIUs (Local Units for Inclusive Schooling) accommodate students with special needs. Belonging to a specific territory marks the profile of our students. Saint-Philippe is a rural town and living in this isolated territory, enclosed between ocean and volcano, mostly Creole-speaking, impacts the higher school career of our students, limits the ambition to excellence and hinders opportunities to open up to the world. Moreover, children and adults from Reunion Island are far from the French metropolis, so they don't really feel European.
