Review: What is Critical Thinking?
Critical Thinking is a form of directed, problem-focused thinking in which one tests ideas or finds solutions for errors or drawbacks. It is about objectivity and having an open, inquisitive mind. It includes skills such as questioning, predicting, analyzing, examining options, identifying values and issues, detecting bias, and distinguishing between alternatives.
Critical thinking requires us to use our imagination, seeing things from perspectives other than our own and envisioning the likely consequences of our position.
