DISH PAUSE

DISH Pause is used for customers wishing to temporarily suspend their programming. DISH Pause may be more convenient than having to disconnect an account, return equipment, and then reinstall DISH in the future.

Business Rules

• DISH Pause is available in 3, 6, or 9 months increments for $5 per month
• Customers with dishNET services can only Pause the TV portion of their account
• Prior to enrollment, any past due balance must be collected
• Pre-Pause services are restored automatically after Pause ends
• Customers can restore services earlier by calling DISH Customer Service at 1-800-333-3474.

1. The customer must intend to start DISH Pause within 30 days
2. The customer must intend to restore service within 9 months

Consequenses of DISH pause

Credit and programming offers are forfeited when going on Pause

Most customers going into Pause will receive a pro-rated credit of services that will likely cover the $5 per month for several months, therefore they may not receive a bill for several months while on Pause

The customer will continue to be billed for any dishNET services they receive at their current monthly rate

Time spent on DISH Pause does not count towards any customer commitment or contract.

Customers with DISH55, Military, First Responder, Teacher, or Healthcare offers will have these offers reinstated when the customer restores services from Pause.
