This model allows students to be in control over their learning. A flexible learning model is how most educators define personalization for students. The Flex Model can work for certain students under certain circumstances since the learning is dependent on self-direction and question-based inquiry. It may take some time for classroom teachers to feel ready to become more of a guide and for students to have the motivation and agency to control their learning.
