Larry Page

Larry is the son of Michigan State University computer scientist Dr. Carl Victor Page, and Gloria Page. His passion for computers started early, at the age of six.

Born on march 26, 1973, in the city of Michigan-East Lansing.

He attended East Lansing High School, and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Computer Engineering.

is an American computer scientist and internet entrepreneur.

During his PhD at Stanfordn University he developed and founded Google in 1998 leaving Stanford University.

Larry is of Jewish origin, his father is Jewish, his maternal grandfather later made Aliyah to Israel.

Awards and merits

In 2002 he was named Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum. According to Forbes magazine, in 2005, and at just 32 years old, Larry Page already had an estimated wealth of 10.2 billion dollars, making him the 4th richest man in the world. After its creation many are based on them passed products such as YouTube, Android, Chrome, Waze, Google Maps, Translate, Books, Orkut, Images, Drive, Calendar, Analytics, among others. At age 12, Page read a biography about inventor Nikola Tesla, who died in debt and obscurity.
