2. Talk to yourself in the mirror, in that way you can see the gestures you make when you speak.

1. Watch Youtube videos with English subtitles and read along as the speaker is talking.

3. Memorize a song and sing it aloud, in that way you can learn not only full sentences but also idioms and slangs.

4. Narrate your everyday life, as you walk to the shops, school, take the bus or train, go for a run or do any other activity, try describing in English what you see around you.

5. Change your smart speaker settings, smart devices allow you to talk to them in two languages. If your device lets you do this, change its settings so that you can give instructions in English as well as your mother tongue. For example if you have an Alexa speaker you can ask many questions as you want.

6. Use a voice recording app. You can use this to record yourself reciting a speech, singing a song, or reciting a poem, but you can also use it to record your thoughts, so you can hear your mistakes and do it better next time.

7. Imitate what you hear on tv programs, find some television shows or movies that you enjoy watching. After watching, imitate the way the characters speak English.

8. Read aloud, every time you read to practice your reading skills, try to read out loud. That way, you’ll not only become familiar with the written words, but you’ll get valuable practice of speaking them.

10. Find a friend, a family member or someone closer to you that also speaks English or is learning the language, so you can practice together.

9. Listen to English podcast and repeat each word or sentence, you can acquire vocabulary and practice your pronunciation at the same time, check these channels that I highly recommend.

11. Try to label everything with little pieces of paper that are sticky, and you write down all of the vocabulary words, maybe in your bedroom you label the bed, mirror, drawer, etc. Doing this you can get familiar with the words and you can practice saying all of them.

12. Use google translator to type sentences in your own language and then listen to Google reading them back to you in English. Use it not only for translation but for practicing your english pronunciation.
