The current President of the USA is Joe Biden
Was elected by the members of the Electoral College
Joe Biden was sworn in and took office on January 20, 2021, along with the Vice President Kamala Harris, the first woman to hold the position.

Presidential Elections
To run for President, candidates from each of the main political parties, the Republicans and Democrats, must:
- Be at least 35 years old
- Be a natural-born citizen
- Have lived in the United States for a minimum of 14 years
The presidential candidate announces the vice presidential candidate.
The party officially names its nominee.
Once selected the presidential nominees, they start campaigning, rallying support among the population.
This process ends on the Tuesday following the first Monday of November.

The House of Representatives
Together the House of Representatives and the Senate form the Congress.
The Congress consists of 535 elected membres
Capitol Hill is the seat of the United Stated Government.
The Judicial branch
The Giudicial branch comprise the Supreme Court, 94 district courts and 13 circuit courts.
The Supreme Court is the highest federal judiciary court in the United States of America.
The Justices are appointed by the President and approved by the Senate. They hold their seats for their entire lives.
The fundamental power of the Supreme Court is to determine whether a given law abides by the precepts of the U.S. Consititution.
The United States form of Federalism is known as "Dual Sovereignty".
