  • The name "Yūgen" means mysterious profundity, and so its population is. Its inhabitants are humanoids, and depending on the number of eyes they have, they belong to one social class or another. That is, the more eyes, the higher in the social pyramid.

  • Apart from the main planet, there are 4 additional iced planets orbiting Yūgen. Their names are Kaneki, Kenma, Kakashi and Komorebi. This planet is full of snowy mountains.

climate

  • Yūgen's climate isn't very varied: it snows all-year-long and there is no sunlight. The temperature never surpasses -10ºC.

wildlife

  • The wildlife at Yūgen is very diverse: the only source of light in this planet are glowing hydrangeas, glowing birds and kodamas.
  • Hydrangeas are very common and are present in every house or building, however they have to be picked up in forests.

  • At Yūgen, there are giant cats wandering around the entire planet. However, to enter the village an autorization from the superior inhabitants is required: if not, a giant and creepy cat'll be the last thing you see.

  • The only way of moving through Yūgen are the so-called "catbuses". These are giant cats, with space inside them for you to sit and travel through the planet, just like a regular bus.

  • While visiting Yūgen, the weather was not much different from how it is all year round. There were strong snows and extremely cold temperatures.

feelings

  • We really enjoyed investigating about and exploring Yūgen. However, when leaving, we felt worried for the inhabitants, with the creepy cat on doorstep.
