Location

The United States of America, or USA, is located in the centre of Northen America, boarding Canada in the North and Mexico to the South.

The States of America

The USA are composed of 50 States. They're in the main american land, except for Alaska and Hawai. Every state in famous for something, like New York for the Statue of Liberty or California for Hollywood.

The capital city

Washington D.C., that stands for District of Culumbia, is the capital city of the USA. It is located in the border between Virginia and Maryland and it takes the name from his foundator, George Washington. In the city there's the White House.

The languages

In the USA the main language is the American English, but in the Southern States Spanish is spoken, too.

In the USA there are a lot of important cities, but the most important are: -New York -Boston -Houston -San Francisco -Chicago -Detroit

The flag

The American falg is called Stars and Stripes. The stars represents the 50 states of America, and the stripes represents the first states to colonise America

the economy

America is the richest country in the world. The primary sector is made of tropical fruit coltivation, the secondary is made of industries and the service industry is made of tourism.

the USA were born on 4th July 1776, after an independence war against the British Empire. The independence was obtained after the Declaration of Independence that was sign on 4th July 1776 by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson

the central part of the USA is occupied by the Great Plains, an extended plain that reaches from the Atlantic Coast and the Rocky mountains.

The Weastern Part of American territory is occupied by the plains nd mountains, like the Appalachians

the Eestern part of USA is occupied by the Rocky Mountains and soma plains near the cost.

population

The USA are the third most populated country, with 378 million people. The population is white for the 82% and black for the 18%.

The government

The USA is a federal republic, where every state has his political sovereignity, but the real sovereignity is owned by the President and the Parliment
