SeaCleaner Fish
Concept: It will contribute to the preservation of the environment, to the monitoring of ocean pollution and the cleaning of the oceans.
Functionality and relevance: It has a shape of a fish and it will help the world to eliminate all the plastic pollution that resides in the depth of the oceans. This machine is extremely important as it contributes to a better environment. It can search and destroy one of the biggest causes of ocean pollution, plastic.
HOW ITS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD?
STAGES OF THE PROJECT:
4th: Build the gadget considering all the previous stages.
1st: Design a prototype of the gadget/invention;
3rd: Evaluate how the gadget will be work;
2nd: Materials to be used on the construction of the gadget;
Problems I was faced with and how they were solved:
- Being waterproof and resisting the pressure in the ocean. - Control of the fish and monitor the status of all the sensors and machines working inside the robot. - Energy duration; - Costing and scaling the robot fish production. - Navigation in the water.
Materials/Resources used:
- The body of the robot fish must be made of strong metal and should be durable: Carbon Steel.
- The head of the robot fish should be made of a rigid plastic: Fiberglass.
- The tail of the fish must be made of strong metal and should be at the same time moldable to swim like any fish: Foam or Polyester Resin.
- The fins should be resistant but at the same time durable: Fiberglass and Glass Microspheres Frames.
