Project Introduction

The "Project Preparation Guide", the joint product of our project, was prepared with the station technique. It was a wonderful experience for our students, who had the opportunity to work in collaborative teams under the guidance of great mentors who have had significant success in national and international projects. Our aim was to bring together the knowledge they learned during the project and to increase permanence. We would like to thank the wonderful teachers of the project and our students who made us proud at every stage of the project. PBL Project Team

In the Project Based Learning project, our students had the opportunity to develop the professional skills that employers value most, while tackling real-world challenges and real-world situations in a safe and supported environment. In the project, our students developed awareness of 21st century skills by producing solutions to the problems they will encounter in the future. The main purpose of the project was to activate our students' curiosity and desire to learn, to enable them to discover their own thinking potential, and to contribute to the development of creative, critical and collaborative thinking skills. The feedback we received from our students regarding the project process and the pretest and postrest analyzes show that we have more than achieved this goal. In the project, students organized events in mixed country teams to share their knowledge and skills with each other through peer learning under the supervision of their mentors. Information on events and event guidelines was provided through regular online meetings.

Project Summary and Purpose

Project Purpose These segments should be focused directly on the target purpose, concretization and R&D content. General subject and history explanations that will not contribute to the evaluation of the contract prepared by experts in the fields it is related to, should be avoided. The aim/objectives of the project and the desired results should be clearly stated. The importance of the project subject should be emphasized and the purpose-project outputs should be taken. Extending too long or too short. It should match the title and the original value.

The Project SummaryThe summary of the project should be short and understandable, the entire abstract should not exceed 250 words. The person who reads the summary should have a correct idea about the project. In the project brief, it does not mention development details, comments and such. However, with a few sentences from each of them, the purpose of speaking, the method or direction used, the observations made and the results obtained, the results and suggestions should be mentioned. In the abstract, the purpose of the design, the method used, the observation made and the main result and results obtained are mentioned in a few sentences. In addition, the framework of the project summary, the project details in general, the keywords consisting of the maximum number of supervisory words are given. The ideal is to create a summary of the expenses at the beginning and update the summary in accordance with the work details of the project report.

Literature Review and Introduction

The main purpose of the introduction is to introduce your project. For this, you should clearly state the situation related to the problem and clearly state the work done on the problem.The resources you have reached as a result of the literature review you have made should be those that are related to your project, and not all information should be written just for the sake of it. In the introduction, the definition of the problem, the causes of the problem, the studies related to the problem, what you do or want to do differently from these studies should be clearly presented. One of the questions you should ask yourself while writing the introduction is “What is the importance of this topic? What are your reasons for researching this topic? What has been done about this issue? There should be questions such as what are the shortcomings of this subject.

The introductory section is where we will influence it during the presentation of the project to the evaluator, whether it is scientific research projects or design projects.All the studies you reach in the literature should be given in the introduction. This is important for making a judgment about the results of the work you have done. Explaining in detail what previous researchers or project owners have done and achieved will enable project evaluators to judge the importance of your work. The main purpose of the introduction should be to allow the evaluator to look at what has been done in previous projects. At the entrance; should give the definitions related to the project and avoid giving excessive information while giving these definitions. Definitions should contain basic information and parallel with keywords. All this should be done to demonstrate the importance of the study. While writing the introduction in the project, the purpose should be stated clearly and the hypotheses related to the purpose should be emphasized in the introduction.

The “Methods” section refers to how measurements and calculations are made and how data is analyzed. How the project work is done, which techniques are used, which tools and equipment are used should be stated in this section. Because the project is an expression of the material selection and the technical science used. Which method to choose in a study depends on the theoretical perspective of the researcher, the problem and purpose of the research, the resources that can be used in the research and the skills of the researcher. The tense structures of the sentences in this section are generally passive.

Findings are the most objective part of a research paper in which the collected data is organized and organized. Findings are the sum of what the researcher finds for the research question in a scientific study, that is, the clear answer given to the research question or the inferences from the analysis of the findings. Before moving on to writing a discussion, you should definitely read similar or recent studies, reports or different results in your field, taking into account the results you found, and make a note of what you find. Then you should group these results according to their similarities. Also, when writing a discussion, you should not repeat the findings as much as possible. You should write by adding comments, with different sentences, by synthesizing your different findings, that is, by intertwining them, without giving numerical information as much as possible. Also, you should never give a new finding in the discussion section that is not in the findings section. If there is such a case, you should first state it in the findings section.

This is one of the most important parts of the project report. In this section, the findings obtained from the project work are interpreted in accordance with the research question or problem. Results are expressed in numerical values and/or verbally. While discussing the results, comparisons are made with similar studies in the literature review.It should be stated whether the statistical analysis results obtained from the research are important or not. If there are factors that negatively affect the results, they should be explained. The aim of the study should be reviewed and it should be stated how far the goal has been achieved. The theoretical and practical benefits of the obtained results should be discussed. Beyond your findings!!! Don't try to get results. Interpret the relationships that emerge from the findings in your study. Conclude the discussion with a brief conclusion stating the importance of the research.

In this process, all the resources used in the project process and specified in the project report are listed. Articles, books and other publication types referenced in the text are listed in alphabetical order according to author names. source; It consists of the name(s) of the author(s), publication date, publication name, place of publication and publisher. Only the sources we read in the literature review should be cited. References in a read source should be cited in the references section.
