CLOTHES

At death the body is washed, and the clothing used to dress the body is usually made by the family. Men dress in a white vest,white pants, and white shirt. The women are dressed in a long white dress, a hat and an apran are the are the same men wears on the wedding day. At no time do they make up their bodies the dresses are smooth, simple and without decorations.

As soon a person dies , relatives close the eyes and mouth of the deceased. Then a lamp is lit next to it to light it for the next three days .In that space of time the family must avoid any contact with the body of deceased .After three days the family will beging to pray. In hiduisn, death is considered a great departne .Hindu funeral traditions serve as a commemoration of life and remembrance of the person who passed away.Shartly after someone passes away , it is the traditional hindu costum to light a lamp on the deceased head.

In hinduism, it is believed that the body can prevent the soul from moving on to the next journey. For this reason, funerals usually take place quite quikly. Ideally, the family will want to hold the funeral inmediately so that the body can be cremated to free in the soul
