research question

We created this question to know if encyclopedias had an influence on our modern era using other era's knowledge and experience and to inform our society that our knowledge and inventions had insperation from history.

To what extent do encyclopedias include knowledge that could influence the advances our modern period?

Introduction :)

Encyclopedias may appear complicated and useless at first, but as you begin to unravel its deepest secrets, you will realize that an encyclopedia is a 2000 year old Google since it is a huge book filled with information on all aspects of our world, such as how to spell a really long word or what kind of animal eats ants.

Purpose

PURPOSE

The Encyclopaedia sought to compile all the knowledge that was dispersed over the globe and to give middle-class people access to a personal library. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the modern encyclopaedia continued to develop. Francis Bacon wrote the Instauration Magna with the goal of "starting a total reconstruction of sciences, arts, and all human knowledge."

Encyclopaedias were created to give the general public a thorough and convenient source of knowledge. With the publication of the Encyclopaedia by Denis Diderot and Jean le Rond d'Alembert in the 18th century, the concept of a general-purpose, widely used printed encyclopaedia started to take shape.

how did encyclopedias impact our society?

Encyclopedias have had a significant impact on our society in the modern era. They have progressed from textual to print and digital media, and they are currently used to summarize significant ideas in certain areas. Encyclopedias have also been employed to strengthen the typical working man and provide readers with more information. Other types of reference books, such as globe atlases and language dictionaries, have been incorporated into current encyclopedias. Moreover Ancient and current encyclopedias have assisted our modern culture by providing a mechanism to access and exchange knowledge. They have progressed from textual to print and digital media.

Reflection

We gathered a lot of data that assisted in our brainstorming about how to arrange this data. We searched hard for the data we needed and ensured that it was valid and notarized; nonetheless, eventually we located it.
