Why do i want this career? This career is about providing leadership and guidance and that’s exactly what i want to do. I want to be in charge, while helping others at the same time. How does this career suit me and my personality ? I have always been responsible and someone that you can depend on. I'm very ambitious and patient. These are all traits that shows why this career suits me. What do you want to learn in preparation for this career? I would like to learn the proper way to deal with problems during the job. Also, handling the budget will be a tough job that i need training for. What kind of educational or training do I need for this career? This career requires a Master's Degree from an accredited institution and a Certification in Administration

Description of My Career

  • I will work with the Superintendent and those whom he/she supervises to articulate and promote the school system’s vision of teaching and learning.
  • Help assists with monitoring and evaluating progress toward accomplishment of system goals and objectives
  • Uses student data to identify program needs
  • Develops goals and objectives, programs and operations that are consistent with school system vision, mission, and goals
  • Ensures that unit and program plans are consistent with the system’s strategic plan
  • Organizes daily, monthly, and yearly schedules to facilitate funding for teaching and learning in the schools
  • Communicates high expectations of students, staff, and parents/guardians
  • Creates, identifies, encourages, and supports innovative ideas that support teaching and learning in the schools

  • Response: Yes, I have to depend on other departments to completetasks and lack of accountability for the administrators.
