Problems and solutions of the Earth

The bioadsorption ,the absorption and heavy metals

Plants that adsorb heavy metals from water.

The Heavy Metals

Heavy metals are the types of metals that are denser than the rest of them, they are generally toxic and lethal to humans in high quantities.

Sources of metals include thermometers, blood pressure monitors, light bulbs, pyrotechnics, fossil fuel use, industrial activities or even paint containing lead.

Mercury

Solution

Bioadsorption??

Attracting and retaining molecules or ions from another body on its surface.

Irrigating dissolved heavy metals in quantities of water that make it non-lethal to healthy, age-appropriate algae and plants. It has been found that they bind and accumulate these pollutants in his tissue by different mechanisms.

Bioabsorption??

Attracting and subsuming a substance and distributing it throughout the body

The polar melt

What is it and what causes

Pole melting or melting is the loss of ice mass at the ends of the planet as a result of global warming. In this sense, it has been noted that in the north pole (Arctic) sea ice has decreased and in Antarctica (south pole) glacial ice has decretases

This phenomenon causes the rise in the level of the oceans, could multiply extreme weather events and destabilize the climate. Cities like Venice are already noticing it

Solutions

Reforestation and protection of forest stands

Reducing fossil fuels

Acording to scientists' calculations, if we managed to curb dependence on fuels such as oil, the increase in the planet's temperature would remain below 2ºC.

The complementary measure to emission reductions is to conserve existing forests and increase the area covered by them. However, the largest areas of forest are in developing countries that have expansion plans that lead to massive deforestation. Developed countries have very small forest masses, as they were deforested during the establishment of the Industrial Revolution.

Small-scale

Turn off the lights when we are not in a room, use energy-saving light bulbs, do not leave electronic devices such as our computer on stand-by or buy appliances such as the refrigerator with the energy efficiency label.

The greenhouse effect

PROBLEMS

Nowadays fosil fuels are used for everithing, and the problem of this is that when they are burned, they expel many greenhouse gases which are the wich produce the climate change. The most known of this gases is the CO2 but there are many others.

Solutions

New technology

Reducing fossil fuels

This are the main producers of this gases

As cars are the main consumers of this fosil fuels, trying to change all this cars to electric or make them to consume other energy would be other solution for this problem

Renewable resources

If all the energy producers would come from renewable resources they will not be any emission of this gases so global warming wouldn't exist so using energy coming from eolic, hydraulic or others, would be the most efective solution.
