Impact
Mathematics teaches our children how to make sense of the world around them through developing their ability to calculate, reason and problem solve. Working with number is essential to everyday life, so ensuring that pupils at Brampton leave with a high quality mathematical education that will provide a solid foundation to their future is our vital objective. Once a child can articulate their understanding of a concept, they can begin to identify the connections/patterns in and outside of the classroom. Therefore, it is important to equip our pupils with the following: -life skills, -the passion and appreciation of mathematics and the sense of curiosity, -the ability to reason mathematically, be fluent and have the confidence to problem solve.
