Index

1. List of materials used.

2. Processes that have taken place from raw material to materialrecycling.

3. End product: lamp.

materials that we are going to use

- Bottle cap: They will be in the whole lamp on top of a base. Is a man-made material. Its source material is plastic. - Wood: It will serve as the base for the bottle caps and for the glasses. It is a natural material. Its source material is a tree. - Plastic cups: They will serve as support for the base of the bottle caps. Is a man-made material. Its source material is plastic.

Processes through which matter has passed

Two main processes are used to make plastic: polymerization and polycondensation, both of which require specific catalysts. After the plastic is sourced, the bottle caps are manufactured using injection molding technology and graded based on the finish of the bottle mouth. And also, plastic cups are made by the same process, where plastic materials are mixed with liquids and inserted into the plastic cup template, which determines the size and thickness of the cups.

Wood-based panels are produced by grinding wood or a similar raw material and then assembling it into a final product in the form of a panel. This makes it possible to use fractions of wood that could otherwise only be used as raw material for pulp production or even as fuel.
