Thomas Elva Edison (1847-1931) was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. From an early age he developed an extraordinarily active, curious and autonomous mentality. His formal education was short-lived and unsuccessful and so his mother withdrew him from school and took over the task of her son's education herself. Thomas Edison therefore acquired most of his vast knowledge through independent study and training and already at the age of eleven he had, in the cellar of his Port Huron house, his own chemistry laboratory.

WHAT IS A LIGHT BULB?A light bulb is: "a small lamp, with a medium/weak illuminating power, perfect for illuminating small rooms, mostly homes or private places, usually made of glass, plastic and/or metal, and which uses small batteries"
THE RESOULT OF THE INVENTION OF THE LIGHT BULB
After the creation of Edison's light bulb (better than Swan's one, because it lasted longer) Swan decided to improve his light bulb, starting from Edison's discovery, so, the two scientist ended up in heated argument on the paternity of the invention, that ended with the creation of the "Edison-Swan company"
HOW HAS THE LIGHT BULB CHANGED OUR LIVES?
The incandescent light bulb was used for around 133 years, before being banned in the UE, but, its intresting to think about how the mankind lived for so long with only the light made by the fire
But, how did the light bulb change our lives?
BUT, WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE LIGHT BULB NEVER EXISTED?
Theorically speaking, we have 2 different possibilies
1)Edison's light bulb was never invented, but Swan's one still exist
2)NO light bulb was ever invented
IF I WERE A SCIENTIST, WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO DISCOVER?
