Some potential topics that I would like to propose to do research are immigration but to be more specific, I would like to research on why people physically cross or why it is used so often, it is not something i hear from the Canadian border and the violence that the act of that of physically crossing of the border has on the rgv communities. Specially when these communities are mexican American communities or have people who also cross and if there is a way that majority of people think about immigration. I would like to do this because it feels very close to home but it is hard to distinct a complete 100% opinion on this topic. I think people have set opinions until it comes to family or they say that they’re grandparents came here so it almost sort of dismisses them as a part of immigration which i find interesting.
