Volunteer your classroom to be the focus of other teachers' learning walks. You can do this by posting a sign outside your door, inviting them in via email or conversation, or whatever way you are comfortable! Submit the date and lesson description and names for which teachers came to your class (because you volunteered!) This is outside of any job-embedded PD learning walks.

Look through the various strategies on K20 Learn's page (linked on the sticker) for something you haven't tried before that would fit an upcoming lesson and try it out! Write a reflection about the experience. Why did you choose that strategy? How did it go? Will you use it in that way again? Will you try another one on their site soon?

Purposeful Pals
Block out the negativity by purposefully meeting with another teacher/staff member and focusing on the positive. Try to meet with someone you don't typically talk with- OR with someone you talk to a lot but it's typically complain-fests (I get it we all have and need them at times!). Pals should meet twice a week for at least 5 minutes and each share 3-5 positive things about their work day/week. (Not "positive but..."s- positives!) Watch your mindset shift!

It can be a sporting event or an extra-curricular activity - band, drama, etc. Take a picture and post a positive Tweet while you are at the event.
