Does my sentence need a Comma?
Grade 3 Objective: I can properly use commas to edit sentences.
student Directions:
1. Pick which game piece you would like to use.
2. The person who had a birthday last will start first. Then you will go to left.
3.Roll the die. Write where you landed on your recording sheet. Click on the number that you rolled. Read the question out loud to the group. Write your answer and justify your answer. Tell the group your thinking.
4. The person to the left checks the answer key and then records if you got it right or wrong.
5. If you get it correct, move your piece to that space. If you get it incorrect, you won't get to move your piece.
6. Pass the computer to the left and have the next person follow steps 3 and 4.
7. If you land on a spot that says go foward or back, you dont have to answer any questions. Just follow what it tells you to do, and write forward or back on your recording sheet.
8. Pass the computer to the left and have the next person follow steps 3-4. First person to make it to the end wins!
