At the end of the class, we will have interviewed a family member in order to know how often they do things.

Vocabulary

Frequency adverbs

100% of the time: Always.

90% of the time: Usually.

80% of the time: Normally or frequently.

70% of the time: Often

50% of the time: Sometimes.

30% of the time: Occasionally.

10% of the time: Seldom.

5% of the time: Rarely or almost never. 0% of the time: never.

Activity 1:

Look at the following questions and answer how often you do them.

1. How often do you ride a bike? 2. How often do you study English? 3. How often do you do exercise? 4. How often do you read? 5. How often do you sleep late? 6. How often do you eat healthy? 7. How often do you watch movies? 8. How often do you listen to music?

How to ask someone else?

How often does he play golf? How often does she go swimming? How often does he play basketball?

She usually plays golf. He always goes swimming. She rarely plays basketball.

Activity 2:

Create a set of 4 questions and ask someone in your family. Write the questions and answers in a Jamboard. example: 1. How often does my mom do exercise? She rarely does exercise.

Speaking time! Spin the wheel and answer the questions orally. You can use your notes from your notebook.
