Description: The aim of the game is to guess a word through a drawing made by a team member, within a time limit. The words, related to the theme of environmental sustainability, are contained in digital cards divided into different categories (animals, places, etc.). The color of the box the token is on will determine the category and thus the word to be guessed. It is recommended to form teams of three players each. Rules: - The game turn is decided by the roll of the dice: the team with the highest score starts first (the team with the lowest score starts last). - Each team selects the first drawer for the word to be guessed. - The first drawer draws a card from the digital deck and, without showing it to the others, has 5 seconds to think about how to represent it with a meaningful drawing. - A 1-minute timer is started, during which team members must guess the word. - The artist cannot speak or use gestures/expressions to help the team. - The drawings cannot include letters or numbers. - When the word is guessed, the team continues the game, rolling the dice again and proceeding with new drawing sessions, with team members taking turns in the role of drawers. - If the team does not guess within the minute, the turn passes to the next team. - The team that reaches the final box first or, within a set time limit set by the game master, gets the highest score (number of words guessed) wins the game." To make the activity more engaging, the board and checkers can be designed by the students themselves with the help of the Design and Technology teacher

Ecogames in my curriculum

The aim of the game is to guess, through the teammate's drawings, the words they represent, to advance to the final square and thus guess the last word. Designs cannot include letters or numbers. Each team decides who will draw the word to guess first. The dice will be rolled to determine the starting order. The team with the highest score starts. Teams of three players each are eligible to participate. How to play? The first designer takes the first card out of the box and, without showing it to his teammates, has 5 seconds to examine the word he will have to draw; once the hourglass has been turned, he has one minute to draw and make his team guess the word. To make the game more fun, the artist can show his opponents the card he is drawing. The artist can't speak, he uses gestures or facial expressions to help his teammates. If the team guesses correctly, they must roll the die, advance the indicated number of squares and choose a new card and a new designer. The drafter changes as often as his team has to draw. The category that identifies the word to draw is always the one indicated by the color of the box. If the team fails to guess within the one-minute time limit, the turn passes to the team on the left. The team whose turn it is draws a new card and without rolling the dice, starts playing following the rules described above.

Torna indietro di 5 caselle!

The playing team stops for one turn. The other teams roll the die, the team with the highest number draws a card and draws.

Go back 5 spaces.

Challenge card A player from the opposite team will be drawn, he/she will choose what you have to draw and with which colors you can do it. Good luck!
